Experience sharing of air deodorization technology in modern pig farms

In the process of pig farming, the odor has not been controlled to a certain extent, which has become a focus of concern for the surrounding people. Starting from the source, the methods used for air deodorization in pig farms may vary in terms of architectural design, structural form, feeding management mode, advanced level of production equipment, livestock and poultry breeds, types and proportions of feed materials, local environmental and climatic factors, and differences in breeding modes.
1、 Mechanical deodorization: 1. Improve the modernization level of equipment in breeding facilities, construct standardized livestock and poultry houses, have a reasonable layout, scientifically advanced structure, and introduce modern breeding equipment; Improving the mechanization and automation of small-scale environmental hygiene control such as ventilation, temperature control, humidity control, water supply, feeding, lighting, and manure cleaning reduces the early decomposition of feces, metabolic proteins and carbohydrates of non livestock and poultry in the house at the source, thereby reducing the production of odor components such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, volatile fatty acids, and ammonia (amines); 2. Utilize dry wet separation equipment to achieve solid-liquid separation. Timely clean up the manure from livestock and poultry houses, achieve solid-liquid separation, clean up the solid manure from the breeding site at any time, and send it to the treatment plant for processing. The liquid part is introduced into a closed sewage tank for fermentation treatment or biogas digester. On the basis of improving the mechanization and intelligence of livestock and poultry breeding, it improves the internal and external environment of the entire breeding area, thereby improving the surrounding environment, reducing environmental pollution pressure, and enhancing environmental ecological benefits.
2、 Physical deodorization method: 1. Use adsorbents, bedding, etc. that have strong adsorption properties on livestock and poultry houses or breeding surfaces. Spread them indoors or hang them in mesh bags in livestock houses to absorb odors and odors in the air. 2. Adopting the widely used bedding feeding method in the pig industry, mat grass is also a good organic fertilizer raw material in the production and stacking fermentation process of organic fertilizer. 3. Clever feeding and deodorization. According to the above introduction, adding 1% to 2% charcoal residue to feed can dry feces and reduce odor. Adding 2% to 5% zeolite powder can reduce the moisture content and odor of feces, and improve feed utilization efficiency.
3、 Chemical deodorization method: 1. Commonly used chemical disinfectants, such as sodium trichloroisocyanurate, double chain quaternary ammonium salts, glutaraldehyde, etc., are sprayed at normal dilution concentrations inside and outside livestock and poultry houses for disinfection. This chemical disinfectant is regularly used in farms and can achieve the effect of deodorizing and eliminating odors during environmental disinfection. 2. Common chemical disinfectants such as caustic soda and quicklime water also have a dual function of disinfection and deodorization.
4、 Biological deodorization method. Biological deodorization is a method of air deodorization in pig farms that uses microorganisms to decompose odorous substances, making them odorless and harmless. In practice, microbial deodorization runs through the entire process of livestock and poultry waste treatment. Improve the utilization level of feed and add beneficial microorganisms to livestock and poultry feed. The biogas production mode is one of the examples of utilizing microorganisms for deodorization and fully utilizing livestock and poultry waste resources.
In short, there are various techniques and methods for air deodorization in pig farms. However, in practical operation, it is necessary to choose the appropriate feces treatment and deodorization method for the enterprise based on the actual production, environmental pressure bearing capacity, scale of livestock and poultry breeding, modernization of production equipment, and different methods and techniques of feces treatment.
